Home Stretch!

I can't believe it's already the end of May... No more much needed holidays until July.  Well it's now 22 days until I head off for the East Coast!!!!! 12 days until I go back up to Oregon to visit my family!  I cannot wait to get out of Utah. As much as I love being close to my sisters and their children a part of me never feels at home here. Even though I've lived in the state for 2/3 of my life, I can't wait to get out!  I just don't have the Utah gene I guess.
Well these past few weeks I've been out having fun and trying to get as many shifts as I can get at Pita Pit here in Provo.  Now that Jessica is back in Utah we hung out once here in Provo and then I went up to her house in Ceder Hills and had some AMAZING latin food. (thanks for the invite Jess).
Haha, something funny I did this week... Does anyone remember when Ashlee Simpson was huge for no reason? Well, I had a crave to download her 3 albums and listen to them.... WHAT THE CRAP! I was so confused on how she was ever famous.... anyway, that's my musical thoughts of the week.. However, I have recently re-discovered Keane and how much I love that band... you should listen to it... Lately my favorite song is "Bedshaped" from 'Hopes and Fears'.
I hope everyone had a safe Memorial Day Weekend!!!!

Well it's official! I boughy a one-way ticket to Pennsylvania!  I can't believe it! It didn't feel real until I hit submit payment!  I have never done anything like this before and am just really excited to go somewhere I have never been!  Anyway, recently I've been getting a lot of new music, I'm ashamed to admit that I love the Katy Perry album... the whole thing is so good.  who knew?  Jessica just got back into town and we're going to go to the park and play with her daughter Lexi.  I'm excited to see them, it's been months.  It will be good to have her back in Utah with us although I'm sure my parents miss her, Lexi, and Noah!  Anyway, that's all that's going on in life.  Just loving the Summer!!!!! Until next time,
Alex
